Feb 12, 2016 Because artists can be perfectionists and struggle to stay working on something without a release date to push them along if they've got other s--- in their life going on. I know very well how something like this can go. My projects are never even close to done when I announce dates, but I have to do it or they won't ever see the light of day.
Feb 12, 2016 Iunno I got a weird stance on this Ye album. Anytime Ye wants to drop soemthing he's got my interest but I'm not super pressed but I am genuinely confused by having such a big rollout and then sitting on the album even if only for 24 hours. Very odd. Did the Taylor Swift stuff maybe make him wanna hold it off to address that with her?

Feb 12, 2016 I come from a family of artists, I am myself one, granted not a musical artist but nonetheless I am familiar with creative processes. Artists don't get that pass from me lol. We're all guilty of the start stop, it's life. That said Kanye has the clout to drop a surprise album, when you got so much money before you and you're already so accomplished that your name does carry so much weight you don't really (or shouldn't) need that. It's largely just good PR tbh. Don't rile your fans up if you don't have too lol.
