I’m almost certain Kim K is the only thing keeping Kanye going at this point. Like, his behavior has been really concerning for a while now. If Kim ever left him though, I’d be legit concerned for his life. I’m talking 24/7 watch concerned.

Well in my and many others opinion, KSG was fantastic, so was his work on Daytona. Ye is definitely not his best work, but it has great moments (mainly yikes/ghost town). While it may be a mediocre Kanye album, that doesn’t make it a mediocre album overall imo. I think for some people (not necesarrily you) his political views are preventing them from enjoying anything he currently puts out. This isn’t something unique to Kanye, just look at all the Eminem fans who suddenly abandoned him after the BET cypher, most of whom probably aren’t willing to acknowledge kamikaze is a good album either or even listen. It’s sad, especially since Kanye projects in particular are (usually) the result many hours of hard work from dozens, even hundreds of people. It’s also pretty stupid for anyone who is not a trained mental health professional to try and diagnose kanye with some sort of mental illness, it’s also disrespectful and stigmatizing to those who actually suffer mental health issues.

i feel like a lot of people are forgetting the context that I Love It (and the video for it) were written to be an interstitial bit during the p***hub awards where everyone was having a jovial silly time, and put on streaming services/released as a video incidentally. obviously he's not going to be dropping Hey Mama 2.0 as a filler during a p--- awards show

This. Kanye has always been an egomaniac, but it was relatively innocuous. Interrupting award shows and saying he should be in the bible are really not serious indictments...but this new thing where he's supporting an openly bigoted president and palling around with ring wing charlatans like Candace Owens and spreading propaganda (like the Democrats have a 'plan' to remove fathers from the home) is very disappointing, and harmful.

I've lost a ton of respect for him in the past few months and I'm honestly having a hard separating his character from his musical output (also, isn't very possible when he's speaking about this garbage in his music). Ye was a bad album, and I'm honestly not expecting much from Yandhi.
