    The length kinda ruins this for me. 7 tracks worked for Pusha, but this just feels like half an album.

    Agreed 100%.
    Yeah, I feel like if you met in the middle of this and TLOP length-wise it would def be more well received. Like 10-12 songs. But I also feel like there's no big Ultralight Beam or Famous outro type moments on here, you know?

    Also: had no idea that was Valee doing the main chorus on All Mine, didn't know dude's voice could go like that. I'm stoked Kanye's showcasing him and 070 Shake on this. Hope I hear more of them on the cudi album.

    @Charlie Work I know you hate this album but I know you're a valee fan too, did you recognize him on that?

    i dont get why people hate the album tho..yes its short...but it has 5 great songs....5 out of 7..thats like 80%

    Agree. But I also agree that TLOP had better moments (even if it also has a lot of meh)

    Overal I prefer YE over TLOP but thats it, its not close to 808 mbdtf LR etc

    Had a feeling the limited time he had to finish this might have hurt + the fact it's only 7 songs. Kanye these days is like a 4 cylinder engine that's only working with 3, still works and operates like normal but you can feel the difference

    I feel like he just works on all the beats for a long time and then realizes he only has like three hours to write the lyrics before he has to turn the album in so he just freestyles what he's thinking at that moment and records it. Which is really frustrating coming from the man who claims to have spent something like 5,000 hours writing power lol.

    The lyrics were definitely an afterthought here, he seems to address Duppy on No Mistake and that song's like a week old.

    I honestly wouldn't be surprised if every single song was recorded since he reactivated his twitter. And there's proof that a lot of them are because they talk about stuff that happened that recently.

    Yeah it's not the same cultivated process as when he had help producing 808s-MBDTF-Yeezus so he can solely focus more on the writing, TLOP is a weird case study honestly but we all know that was when Kanye was at his most compulsive. But from Daytona to this I'm glad sonically he's never lost his edge

    Three positive reviews and three mixed reviews isn't exactly panned. But in the end it's def gonna be his lowest rated album.
