I like this. I will do my worst seven for. Will exclude interludes and just remember on classics the worst can still be some of the best. So here goes

I think that's def possible. I have no idea really tho. On one hand the "in the moment" theme I've extracted from it for myself can last forever. Because the present is forever. But I don't know if a lot of the things he's talking about on the album will hold much weight once a good amount of time passes.

I like "Ye". Better than TLOP and Yeezus. That TMZ incident seemed to make a little more reflective. Beats are great too.

Great example of why I no longer pay attention to music reviews anymore. Who hires these hacks? The review focuses on kanye more than the music itself and this writer is bitter af. Now I would give the album lower than a 7.1 but the review doesn't even bother to hide its bias, terrible.

Idk how you listen to Kanye's music and keep it separate from who he is. For almost any artist, but him especially. Also, the writer doesn't determine the score. The staff takes an average. Usually they choose a review that reps that score though.

it’s not usually a useful lens because artists usually don’t have one album this drastically far below their second-worst. i think it’s pretty illustrative—of kanye’s excellence and consistency as much as anything, but still.
