It isn't totally but it kind of is. In my eyes. Well, maybe excuse isn't the right word. I just don't judge the feelings put into it much. We're not even totally sure of what I Thought About Killing You is about. Everyone has ideas but yeah. The "You" in the title might be referring to more than one individual. You obviously just really don't like Kanye tho so no wonder that snippet speaks to you lol. I mean do you look at Relapse the same way? Because there's definitely some truth rooted in the songs on it.

If the album had nothing to do with Margaret Thatcher then no... It would not be relevant at all lmao. Thats f---ing ridiculous. I would argue it is specifically what critics shouldn't do, if the music itself does not speak or touch on the subject. I said this before and I'll say it again because its valid. By reviewing the album this way, pitchfork is really only reviewing it for a small amount of people that actually let the artists opinions impact their opinions on the work. 90% of people do not f---ing care and only care about the piece of entertainment, the only people that care enough to let it impact how they judge the music are those on either polar sides of the political aisle. A critic should be reviewing for the general audience right, not the 10%?

Okay and kanyes politics are not the core of the work. His politics are only referenced once on the album, so it would be safe to say they had little to nothing to do with the core of the current album we recieved.

Guys what u dont understand? After Kanye spending weeks talking political and personal s---, I expected answers in the album. Instead he gave us generic bs like "All Mine" and lines like I love your ti--ies, 'cause they prove
I can focus on two things at once, if it was a 14 track album it'd be fine, but it was only seven d--- songs, and he decided to put this crap in it. And can someone explain to me what is No Mistakes about? He only makes one verse and lets it fade.

Someone I knew said it was one of the best earlier and his opinions are normal lol. I like it but idk... Doesn't work that well for me because I don't just see women as something to conquer anyway. I understand what you mean by opposite affect.

I like it and appreciate it. Particularly him expressing the change when becoming a father. But yeah.... Not huge on it.
