808s & Heartbreak​

A ground breaking album. Whilst causing a large amount of mixed impressions upon it's release we can now look back at 808s and see that it has become one of the most influential albums of our current era. 808s has an electronic pop sound with a heavy use of auto-tune, the theme is of loss and heartbreak which was inspired by the breakup of a long term relationship with Alexis Pheiffer and the loss of his mother.

My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy​

Boy of boy what do we have here. That trip to Hawaii certainly paid of with this one as Kanye made an album that could satisfy any rap fan if they're open to it. He delivered with the bars, it's sonically pleasing and god d--- was the production on fire. Kanye explores depression, sex and all the negatives about fame with this album. The content of this album was triggered by the departure of Amber Rose and possible the Taylor Swift incident.

Yeezus​

The ultimate masterpiece. To see people place it near the bottom of his discography (I was one of them a couple of years ago) really disappoints me, could it possibly be because the lack of lyrics or they're just not open minded enough? I could go back to this album anytime. It's very experimental and minimalist, I can see why the production might be hard to listen to at the start but it really grows on you. New Slave outro is just perfection. Bound 2 is possibly the worst song on this album but f---, what a f---ing outro! He topped it off with possibly his greatest tour of all time.

Kanye West would like to work from his hospital bed, but his wife, Kim Kardashian, has been telling him not to, a source exclusively tells Us Weekly.

“Kanye keeps wanting to work. At the hospital, he requested that recording equipment be brought to the hospital so he can record in his bed,” the insider tells Us. “And he has kept asking to see sketches of his fashion lines.”

The source adds: “He continues to want to work and Kim has to keep telling him to rest."

The MTV Video Music Awards and Kanye West have a lot history. If you recall back in 2009, Kanye ran up on Taylor Swift during her acceptance speech, and then the following year, debuted “Runaway.” It didn't stop there, last year, Taylor Swift would present Kanye West with MTV’s Video Vanguard Award, which he accepted along with a classic 11-minute Kanye rant that included the announcement of his plans to run for President in 2020. Now, at this year’s VMAs, which takes place on Sunday, it appears like MTV is giving Kanye West four minutes of stage time do whatever he wants. TMZ is reporting that MTV producers are giving Ye' a four minute slot at the VMAs and apparently, there's no plans, nor do they have any idea what he's going to do. A rep from MTV told TMZ: “He can rap, sing, dance or even just stay silent … and we’re told show producers are totally clueless which door he’ll pick.” We wonder what he'll do, maybe he'll use the time to continue exposing Taylor Swift? Be sure to tune in.

Album is great. heres a few notes i noted down on my notepad when i was noticing the notes of this half hearted masterpiece.

- ULB is one of the best songs on the album. i went to watch the album release at msg alone at the cinema and had a big fat spliff before i went in. I flipped my s--- when the first track came on and that piercing synth with kanyes melodic vocals came through those big a--- speakers. great experience.

- FSTM part 1 >>> part 2. f--- you all for being d-ck riding, band wagoning r-----s and dissing the a------ line cuz mike tyson was the first to point it out. yall virgins scared of the image of amber roses a------ or something? was a great line and showed ye's self awareness towards the whole a------ scandal before the album.

- cool verse in highlights but the rest is mediocre club s---. another example of how easily the simpletons on here can be persuaded. before i gt banned it was only narsh who wanted to wrap young thugs dreads around his d-ck and pleasure himself. now suddenly everyones a thugger fan? embarrassing.

- Waves could of been the next Runaway. but no it had to be ruined by chris browns faggy singing/horrendous writing. this is my biggest frustration of kanyes whole career. amazing beat, amazing melodic verse by kanye (the actual verse, not the intro part) and cb comes along and ruins the whole thing. no relation to kanyes original content doesn't have a clue how to write a decent lyric so just takes the name of the song and puts "dont die" after it. "i know! ill sing waves dont die, that sounds catchy!" also "im not a very good musician and i cant think of a decent line to write so ill just sing No LiiiiiiiiiieeeeEeEEeeeEe for four bars and drag it out". Chris browns addition to that sung literally sums up the state of modern day "lets just make it sound catchy" s-----y un-original, un-inspiring, un-creative music. imagine kanye singing his own hook in a similar melody to the verse, then doing a verse rapping for the 3rd verse on keeping it on some deep s---.

- FML is best song on the album, minus the weeknd. he trys to hard and i would rather have kanye sung the hook himself. the part when he says "and EVEN THO i always f--- my life up" on the second line of each chorus ruins the smoothness of the melody in the first place. like i said dude trys to hard. thank you for listening you 2 people that read this.
