Jun 21, 2015 My hopes for this album dropping this summer are dead. We've heard nothing for months. this is turning into Detox 2.0. Dre is more likely to drop with the N.W.A moving coming out soon than Kanye is. And that worries me. I believe in Ye but could this mean he's about to drop a his first bad album? And i say first because I loved Yeezus.

Jun 21, 2015 ^It seems TPAB made Kanye feel like he needed to do better. Which could be good and bad. On the one hand it could make the album goat. on the other hand we will now have to wait forever.
Jun 21, 2015 I'd put money on him redoing most of the album. It's been "done" like three times already, and I think he decided to scrap most of it because he finally found the true direction he wanted to head in (hence the title change and the sharp drop off in news/kanye being in the public eye). I heard via a friend of a friend who works in A&R that someone he knows from Kanye's camp basically implied that that's what was happening, but couldn't say outright (so take that with a grain of salt obviously, but it seems likely given the circumstances). Tidal flop + TPAB surprise rollout probably had an effect on the delay, but I doubt they were the sole catalysts.
