The Black Album is FAR from perfect, no album with Change Clothes & Justify My Thug is a 'perfect' album, GKMC is better in fact.

This is a problem with 'you', not the album.

Kendrick does not have claasics. Its been 3 years since his first album.

Nas has Illmatic, IWW, stillmatic, gods son, thw lost tapes, distant relatives. He kiilledJay z on record and has numorous classic songs. Kendrick new album has 0 classic SONGS. Nas impact on hiphop will never be matched by Kendrick because of the difference of genaration

    As of yet, absolutely not.
Nas has arguably the most groundbreaking hip-hop albums of all time in Illmatic and has some other quality albums (It was Written, Stillmatic) and still has some way to go. In my opinion THE best ever.
Do I think Kendrick Lamar has the potential to overtake Nas' status when all is said and done? Absolutely and frankly I hope he does.
I think my opinion on both Nas and Kendrick is clear with my avi lol

Maybe 15 year olds, you cant call a song or album a classic after 4 days. Nas albums have already been proved timeless. There is no way people will be playing songs from his new album in 5 years on a regular basis people are blinded because its new. Not to say that isnt a great album as a whole

Those are great songs tho, especially Change Clothes lol

And I love GKMC, but are you saying the songs you mentioned above are worse than Real and/or Compton?

Real is the weakest on GKMC, won't argue with that.. nothing really wrong with Compton however, it just wasn't on the same level as the rest. GKMC is the better album pound for pound.

Besides Illmatic you think Nas got an album better than, for example, GKMC or TPAB?

    Just curious.

I try not to compare like for like as far as older music goes but It Was Written & Stillmatic are also on a similar plateau to the Kendrick albums you named...Life Is Good, God's Son & Lost Tapes are awesome but I wouldn't put them in that conversation objectively speaking.

Not for GKMC or TPAB but yes for Section 80 and Nas' output was too inconsistent. GOAT though, purely as a rapper rather than as an artist, his flow and wordplay is pretty much unparalleled. The only other rapper that comes close is Kendrick.

I think Kendrick and Nas are both more talented in terms of wordplay, flow and general lyrical content but don't get me wrong prime Eminem was in the top tier league.

I think you're slighting The Black Album bro, especially saying "pound for pound". But like i said, I like both of them, two of my favorite albums.
