    I don't think he alienated himself at all. I know a lot of people who don't really like the album, but they still admit it's one of the best albums they have ever heard.

    I'm one of the guys...I like the album a lot, but I don't see myself listening to it every day. But even If I didn't like it, I would still aknowledge it as a masterpiece.

    It's true that he has released nothing but amazing projects, but he needs at least a few more albums on the same level as s80/gkmc/tpab if he wants to be remembered as a true Goat.

    Right now he's like top 15/20 tbh

    He can be someday. Kendrick just needs to continue with releasing amazing projects and h--- be there definitely. Kendrick also needs to focus on making his music more mainstream appealing like GKMC. He's already top 10 for me tho.

    Not to mention he been dropping the best west coast albums for several years now.

    And you can ahve the argument that all 3 of kendrick albums are contenders for absolute best album of the decade so far"

    He's already the best artist of this era after Kanye West. That's scary how he gets better with every release, at least artistically. (with the exception of UU but I consider that tape as a collection of throwaways)
