Highest rated hip hop album of the last 16 years :whew:

Was listening to it yesterday and was like "how is it even possible to craft such a musical masterpiece" :whew:

Kdot really has the best team of musicians behind him :whew:

well, retaliate better, you made 2 posts that weren't directed towards anyone specifically.

well yeah, most of the time, because like why lie? also if you think about, it's true that pattern recognition from your brain influences your taste. look at all the people who were raised listening to 80s rock from their dad's music collection and are in their 20's-30's today bumping that stuff. (just an example, but theres plenty of them. You like Nas, what's the bet you've listened to Nas' music more than any other artist?)
like why are you being so dismissive. Music doesn't have to be subjective. if you think it is then whatever, i'm just trying to say "hey man, there's actually some evidence that states otherwise. here, increase your knowledge"
but u wanna b a lil bih and come back lke
"nah i dont give a f--- what i think is right"

    just

    ok man

Like them n----s from DEHH said, he's coming for that spot.

All his albums are better than the previous one, so I wouldn't be surprised if he managed to top TPAB with his next release.

Like i said only people who loved tpab as much as people say are critics and Kendricks superfans. Tpab f----- him in the eyes of most rap fans since it alienated himself so much

TPAB garnered great attention and positive reception from both fans of hip hop and musicians outside of the genre...wow Kendrick did such a great job I am anxious to see what he can cook up next

Lol, I can understand if you're not enjoying Tpab, it's very different from most mainstream albums, but it's an undeniable album as far as quality goes. Not that I care about what critics say, but it deserves every bit of praise.

I don't think he alienated himself at all. I know a lot of people who don't really like the album, but they still admit it's one of the best albums they have ever heard.

I'm one of the guys...I like the album a lot, but I don't see myself listening to it every day. But even If I didn't like it, I would still aknowledge it as a masterpiece.

Was actually referring to YG, which should be obvious to anyone who isn't a Besky alt considering his last two projects have been lightyears better than Kendrick's last two

He certainly has made an argument for himself with his discography but it's still to early to have this discussion I think. Kendrick will forever be one of those artists thats greatness is contested because of where he aligned himself with TPAB. He's now looked at as a "conscious rapper" and all the stereo types that come with that will carry. This is why I'm hoping he strays away from the TPAB sound on his next major release. It's not the the music is bad, I just want him to show his diversity.

Well YG got album of the year, but I wouldn't say he's better than kendrick. Much respect to YG tho.

It's definitely debatable, but I'd put YG over Kendrick for the last year or so. If we're comparing entire careers then yeah it's close
