    Paying homage to your biggest influence is not corny at all. If it was, then jacking your favorite rapper style and running away with it would be the epitome of corniness and every rapper in the game would be corny.

    Imo the rap game actually needs more people paying homage to the pioneers of the game.

    completely missed my point because youre so focused on Jhene Aiko in the bathtub :kdotrly:.....(basic)

    other artists have recreated Pacs photos so the idea is not corny its smart....and like I said it wasn't even Kendricks idea

    When your favorite artist tries to have a pac guest verse on his song: "dude is overhated"

    when kendrick does a pac interview that gets universal acclaim due to how well executed that s--- was: "this is corny"

    classic sxn80 double standards... also shows how some people love to go against the grain just for the sake of being controversial

    Didn't read the thread and not sure he's even being serious but yeah Kendrick's always come off as super corny to me. I'm mainly talking outside of his music and when he talks about Pac, the nwa interview too. I don't know, just seems like an annoying corny dude, but that's just me.

    Imagine being corny because your persona isn't new...and half of these lines are actually good, but you did a good job of taking them out of context.

    btw, there's nothing wrong with the ghostwriter line either, unless you know your favorite rapper ain't writhing his own s---.
