    Yea still had the hi hats, the trap snare, the 808.

    The melody was different, it wasnt at a 140 BPM like alot of "trap" beats are, but it had the same components.

    I don't think that's really an accurate comparison. TPAB was made with layers so people could break it down. It wasn't a straight forward project like say Piñata was which people also love. I think a more accurate comparison would be Dour Candy. A great album but not exactly one that's totally easy to listen to.

    this one of the reasons we make fun of Kendrick so much cuz his fans listened to TPAB and think they are now masters of all things music, it's embarrassing honestly.

    On another note, I don't listen to music to have to sit there and break it down 100 times. That's just not enjoyable.
