Sep 8, 2024 Good to hear! Because trying to constantly be unbiased in rap beef is soooooooo boring. It’s just like sports, picking your team and rooting for that team is a lot of what makes sports fun.
Sep 8, 2024 What ruins the diss track for me is his muppet voice, I hate Kendrick's voices. It made sense on GKMC cause he was telling his story from a teen to an adult, but why still do that s--- now? can't stand it. Then Kendrick, Cole and Sean all dropping boring a--- albums (Drake also now) and Rocky, but Rocky pretty much always s----d tbf.
Sep 8, 2024 Wayne still fun performing, he even toured recently. The album, I thought he was saving it for the SB. I guess this means we might get it earlier. His Carter albums tend to be good or great
Sep 8, 2024 This isn’t even a point I was trying to make lmao. I was pointing out how it’s stupid you’re trying to clown Kendrick for the same s--- Wayne is guilty of. The “get with the times” comment was completely separate from the argument
Sep 8, 2024 We can talk about hits and popularity all day but Kendrick Lamar is going to give a better performance than Lil Wayne or Drake ever would. People always complain about Super Bowl performances so this is a huge factor
Sep 8, 2024 It’s not a muppet voice, you muppet. It’s a west coast accent. Marsh, it seems like all rap is just boring to you now no matter what and it’s been that way for years now. Maybe it’s not the rap game, maybe it’s you. I think it might be time for you to just be a full time pop fan and leave the hip hop commentary to the rest of us.
Sep 8, 2024 In all honesty, I would’ve liked to see Lil Wayne headline at the Super Bowl. But there’s probably a good reason why he isn’t. The best we can hope for is that he comes out with Kendrick to perform Mona Lisa. But with the Drake beef I don’t know if that will happen.
Sep 8, 2024 I can excuse your strange takes on Kendrick but implying that Live.Love.A$AP isn't a great album is where you lost me. What the h---
Sep 8, 2024 It makes sense to have Kendrick Lamar headline. He’s had a huge year and people’s respect for him has shot through the roof. He proved that he is ruthless in a rap battle and should be a feared competitor. He proved that he can give important, great performances for the culture like he did with his Pop Out show. He has the biggest diss song ever that everybody has been shouting the words of all summer. He was already my GOAT, but this year made a lot of people put Kendrick Lamar in that GOAT status if he wasn’t there for them already. He can make hits, he can rap his a--- off, and he can convey deep messages. He has pretty much everything you could ever want out of a rapper.
Sep 8, 2024 I already posted a bunch, even the features blew up because of his hooks. Go Dj Mirror Fireman 6 Foot 7 Foot She Will Tha Block Is Hot Stuntin Like My Daddy Best Rapper Alive Money To Blow + other features like Shooter We Takin Over Swagger Like Us … He has enough for more than one Halftime show both featuring crazy guests.
Sep 8, 2024 I've never liked Lil Wayne, he's always been super overrated to me. Most of his songs are pretty terrible, his voice is like nails on a chalkboard. On No Love I used to skip his verse everytime
