it won't... you'll probably enjoy it more, but its not gonna be better than tpab.

tpab is widely praised as one of the best albums of all time and even if we put critic saside, I don't think he'll ever top this album. This features some of the best compositions in jazz and funk history

now that I think about it...

Kdot definitely has the right people around him to make a jazzy/funky record, but I remember an interview of Warren G from last year... he said Kendrick asked him for a few bangers and it makes me think that kendrick also has all the right people around him for a G-Funk record. Think about it, he has soundwave, Thundercat on the bass, George Clinton, Dr Dre, Snoop, Warren G, Dj Quik, Sly to replace Nate Dogg, Jay Rock,...

A petition isn't needed lmao, Kendrick definitely won't take the commercial route. Everybody thought he was gonna be a sell-out after gkmc came out and cater to the radio, but he straight dropped an album complete with BrainFeeder instrumentation and dropped something for the day 1 fans, not those who jumped on the bandwagon when he signed to aftermath.

Honestly even if he didn't compromise too much on gkmc, the album is still the most commercial thing we'll ever get from kendrick. I can see him promoting his next album by dropping some songs for the radio that probably won't be in the final project bu thats it, really

yeah but I dont' think he gonna make a political album this time. He also said tpab was supposed to be his 4th or 5th major album or something like that

What happened in america in 14/15 probably motivated him to release it as his sophomore (studio albums) and it probably influenced him to change the content a lil bit
