    You learn something new everyday. That verse is good. I'm guessing Backseat Freestyle won its place on the GKMC tracklist over this as the "ignorant"/"turn up" song of the album.

    I think that this is also from the perspective of teenage Kendrick too. At the beginning of the song he says "I remember being young, and dumb, and looking for the next thrill. Angry adolescence. Three things on the mind: Money, murder and you".
    I get the impression that part of the first verse is dedicated to Sherance too.

    Backseat Freestyle fit on GKMC much better.
    But f---in Problems would've given Kendrick his second big hit off the album, next to "Swimming Pools"
