    The issue with Wayne’s response is that it’s so entitled. Like this is the first solo rap artist to headline a super bowl and instead of everybody congratulating Kendrick they,
    1. Complain about Lil Wayne being unfairly ignored (he was never promised the show)
    2. act like it was Jay’s choice to not have Wayne perform (looking at you Nicki)

    Wayne is a legend no doubt. But this entitlement is so weird. like of course they’ll choose the artist with the biggest rap songsof the year over the guy who’s last project was “Tha Fix Before Tha VI”

    People saying no but I’d say give it a listen, if you’re not into the high concept stuff from his last couple albums, this isn’t really that outside of a track or two and the production is probably closer to GKMC than anything since

    Both great for different reasons

    Kendrick’s album is dope for hip hop. Eminem’s album is dope for Eminem fans. And that’s okay. I’m glad we got both.
