Jan 13, 2016 the visuals for "u" were nothing like what I envisioned for the video...so that was a nice surprise. I was expecting the whole scene being acted out with the maid knocking at the door and Kendrick talking to the mirror. But what they did instead also captured the emotion of the song (imo).... in that case he didn't necessarily need to be really crying or acting a certain way for you to understand the song. The words pretty much tell it all. What confused me the most were the bridge scenes: 1. where Kendrick is standing at the bridge and 2. the end when he walks off. I don't understand how that ties in with the rest of the video. is this supposed to be reality or a dream?
