Mar 31, 2017 it's really not that big of a deal but if you can't hear that it's basically a remix to Elm Street idk what to tell you.
Mar 31, 2017 d--- i hate to say it, but i will These are all Drake stans trying to accuse Kendrick of biting Miss me with that salty BS
Mar 31, 2017 You guys put him on a pedestal and s--- on Drake when he was going through his situation but are turning away from this clear case of biting. Denial always the toughest stage but it gets easier with time.
Mar 31, 2017 Kendrick didn't bite anyone, people. Stfu already. People Stanning Drake butthurt so they wanna claim everyone else just as derivative. His life story is a borderline allegory. JK. I just like triggering cacs.
Mar 31, 2017 Lowkey won't be surprised if I end up not liking Kendrick's album more than "More Life" though. I don't know. All the usually really good rappers are on a slippery slope while the ones who are known to have a huge support system are on a whole other level right now. What a paradox.
Mar 31, 2017 This sounds like an average song on a classic album. I think it's an 8 that may feel like a 9 within the context of the album. I sense a few meta-modern tendencies; Kendrick expressing himself authentically while simultaneously showing self-awareness and a sense of irony. Hope we'll fully understand it April 7th.
Mar 31, 2017 I am only reflecting on Humble. As I see it we are both assuming different things. I assume for Kendrick there is a correlation between the act of covering up imperfections and perceived beauty. If youre already beautiful there is no need to use a filter to cover up freckles, stretch marks, etc. Where as youre saying there is no correlation and he is just complaining about the free will act of using filters. It would just depend on the motivations of the individual and why they chose to install make up. If a women has been lead to believe they are only beautiful with make up, there is nothing corny about encouraging natural beauty. If a women already knows theyre beautiful but enjoys using make up for different reasons then it is arrogant to preach the no make up gosel. Thats a willful choice that should be left alone. It really depends on the person. There is no universal statement. That said, Kendrcks commentary stands in contrast to the popular commercial image of women being sold as beautiful with "imperfections" covered up via make up / air brushed filters. There's only been slight changes to this with someone like alicia keys promoting natural beauty and not covering up her freckles.
Mar 31, 2017 Dissing big sean again on the chorus? Jacking his lil b---- catch phrase, telling him to be humble
Mar 31, 2017 Best way to get him instead of a diss record is to make a classic album with his Adlibs 20 years later young people will act like kendrick made the "lil b----" Adlib
