Dec 17, 2014 Crazy to think back to when S80 dropped in 2011 K. Dot only had 8k sales in two weeks, myself included, to releasing Swimming Pools in the Summer of 12 and now he was Colbert's last musical guest dropping a new song. His progression >>> All while remaining true to himself.
Dec 17, 2014 We're back in the HiiiPower era now. Who else would get away with this in mainstream media as a rapper?, Kendrick pushed all the boundaries and it's paying off.
Dec 17, 2014 Nas dropped a whole album untitled, what's your point? The title leaves it open for interpretation, Kendrick respects our intelligence.
Dec 17, 2014 I don't get why people think he's attacking white people here...he explains the faults (greed, lust, etc.) of every race including his own and then flips it to say that even though every race has their own flaws why is it only African Americans that still have to pay for it? Pretty brilliant imo
Dec 17, 2014 This song is definitely going to shut the mouths of the people saying kendrick won't be able to make an album to the same standard of S80 and GKMC
Dec 18, 2014 Saw a comment on Kendricks Facebook. "I'm a 54 year old white women. I saw this on Colbert was floored, wow what an artist". f--- rap, Kendrick going to run music for the next decade.
Dec 18, 2014 Not sure if you meant us as in Kendrick fans (the music we are getting), or if Kendrick is getting more fans? I've been listening to Kenny for pretty long haha.
Dec 18, 2014 Anyone think or hope there will be any other rappers featured on this album other than the usual
Dec 18, 2014 Just to give you a bit of context.. Hasman sent me here from J. Cole Nation, I was admin of KDot Nation too. On Cole Nation around 2011, I said Kendrick would be bigger than Cole and I was shot down for it and called crazy, they said he'd never be bigger than Lupe.
