Feb 10, 2015 I think the verses are great. Not every Kendrick song has to have complex rhymes. The message is more important in this song. The only thing I don't like is the hook if that was better it would be another classic Kendrick song.
Feb 10, 2015 late at night and you're drunk smh the aryan line was cool but it was just a good pun and doesn't say anything the rest of the verse wasn't already saying. honestly feel like you're still over reliant on straight punchline rap cause of your s4tw2 obsession. this s--- is hot. honestly feel like anything less is sort of nitpicking. cool punchlines every other bar isnt the only thing that makes a clever song

Feb 10, 2015 Dunno why people have issues with the hook... fits fine for me and i love it. I grew up hearing a lot of DnB/Dancehall because im from london so i'm used to it i guess. I think a Jamaican screaming "everything starts with the black, remember that" fits perfectly with the song.
