    Reading the reactions here and not having the possibility to listen to the album got me like

    are you telling me you dont know your acting like your better than all of us? did the critic career get to your head or something?

    there is a huge difference with these two approaches
    1- i think this album is really bad
    2- lol at liking this bad album

    Physical copies are already out...I believe only certain best buys have them. I was lucky enough to cop one today at the nearest best buy where I live.

    On first listen I was pretty indifferent about this album but the second listen it really clicked with me. The opening track, King Kunta and U >>>> * Will listen more to let it sink in further.

    the new i is much much more interesting and engaging.

    not to mention we don't have to deal with that r-----ed voice for the majority of the song anymore

    Well, I think its fantastic because the production is literally without fault, it's extremely cohesive, and makes for a cinematic listen front to back

    Kendrick was almost secondary at first.

    And now, with evey listen, he's starting to standout a lot more. His rapping/writing is as great as it's ever been for the most part, and he does SO much with it rather than go down the same lane as GKMC.

    institutionalized, u, hood politics, i, etc they all showcase so many different styles, and do so extremely well for the most part.

    And THEN there are the various themes/concepts/commentary/narrative at play

    I honesty don't see where your complaints are stemming from, other than a gut reaction to hating this direction.

    Like what's there to fault about "alright?"

    Or momma?

    Or Wesley's theory?

    Or how much a dollar cost?

    Like when the maid stops by in the middle of kendrick getting trashed/losing his s--- in his hotel room

    Do you honestly think this is that bad? I can understand not feeling it but...seriously?

    I'm with you on people jumping the gun calling this an absolute classic etc (it takes time to determine that), but aren't you just reacting in the same way, but on the opposite end of the spectrum?
