    Yeah this is a first impressions review guys, I would never write a full, in-depth review after 1-2 listens and only having an hour or two to digest the album.

    meh, I think tone is important -- piece should demonstrate we have the album, understand it as a whole, give some vague observations, etc. thats about it.

    i do like ur self awareness about "knee-jerk reaction pieces" hahaha and fuq man, I want the album too.

    its a delicate balance, but i think the notoriety, especially if its an educated opinion, is important.

    I wouldnt want to listen to anything that isnt a fell album. That would take away the feel.

    I just hope there's not a bunch of respectability politics on the album. He already has a lot of Black fans on the fence with him after his Ferguson comments.

    This album could be controversial for all the wrong reasons.
