    in the history of the internet...i remember one era where they came down on leakers..during the ileak.com fiasco

    but in general...its not worth doing

    By the time all court expenditures are through they are usually more in the bucket than before, a lot of the time if they do do it it's just to make a point that it could happen to you.

    Thing that gets me is. We're still all openly talking about downloading and listening to illegally leaked music here daily. Any legal ramifications still apply if the Feds were to come through and dig up a whole bag of dirt on who is downloading illegal music. But wouldn't waste their time.

    if you go strictly by law..as long as the link isnt hosted by, sectioneeighty.com/song.mp3 .. we cant get in trouble..all they can do is ask us to take it down

    but again..why lose any hope of music connections

    Presumably though record labels or artists would be more likely to press charges against leakers as opposed to people who illegally download, because leakers cause them a lot more damage.

    My thirst for a kendrick album following gkmc has more so been over a period. Like everyone wonders if an artist can follow up a classic debut like that.

    Same, h---, I listen to pretty much every genre so I have a ton of hype for albums, pretty much every couple months. Mariana & The Diamonds -Froot, Sufjan Stevens - Carrie and Lowell, St. Vincent - St. Vincent, list goes on of non-hiphop artists.
