This songs art of storytelling is only really directed for a certain audience though. It does have good reasoning behind it and I understand what you're trying to say. It's just a little too awkward for me at times. Solid effort by Kendrick on the track, however.

I love hood politics, king kunta is great now but like I said, I think some of the other things need to sink in for me.

But U and I are just 2 things I really don't like on the album at this point.

I don't think saying what someone dislikes about an album is being negative, it's not like I'm screaming this sucks every other post, I'm just not loving it as much as others.

U second verse being hilarious or awkward makes no sense since it plays into a larger story which i know you know...so i dont see how you see it funny..very weird

it is strong story telling that i didnt see in a rap album before

Album gets better the more I listen. Keep noticing the underlying meanings of songs etc. it's just so detailed and layered. Another classic imo.

after 5 or 6 listens, i'd say it's just as good as GKMC/Section.80/OD/KL EP. GKMC is probably going to stand as the strongest album for me though, but, that's just cause i like that "b-----r" music.
