    That's not what he's doing at all.

    I see him actually exposing the oppressions and social issues in a way that people can relate to it.

    and how the f--- is that what you got out of the album?

    he's literally telling his generation/the black community as a whole to STOP being "oh poor me" and go and own the world....there's literally a skit about being Kings/Negus/etc

    also, seeing as he grew up in poverty, surrounded by his friends getting killed, i think it's safe to say hes been "so hard done by"

    Album finished and I got to say... Kendrick took the pressure from GKMC, the hype, everything that was expected from him and he did it. He nailed it. Such an incredible album from start to finish. It's one of those albums you want to finish listening to experience it yet at the same time you don't want it to end.

    Yeah I don't see myself going back to that song very often, if ever. The "crying" is way over the top and just not at all pleasing to the ears.
