Exactly... Lol when GKMC first came out you said people were really overrating it, that it was a great project but not a classic. Then, some years later it sat at #2 of your best hip hop albums in the past decade list. You like to try to shock people with your opinions, seeing you post for multiple years now it's kind of evident and it makes it pretty easy to determine what your opinions are going to be, especially when it comes to bigger names like Kendrick.

At this point its not a matter of opinion. All of drake's albums come and go. Kendrick's albums will live forever, like the way we still talk about Illmatic, Get RIch, MMLP, TES & Reasonable Doubt. No one will be talking about If you're reading this it's too late years from now...

Most people I know IRL don't care for the album much at all either. Those same people don't care about anything Kendrick related apart from GKMC. that's the point i'm trying to make. I'm not sayin TPAB is a masterpiece, but I am saying it's just as good as OD/KL EP.

hot take? to say illmatic is the best album in Nas catalog? Ok then, well what would you say is Nas best album, if not Illmatic?

I'm not listening through broken Headphones. I'm just trying to say that it's very similar (although darker, kind of) to his previous body of work (ignoring GKMC). Although, they are still very different. so maybe I'm wrong?
Will also say that TPAB had my least favorite production out of his other projects.

Both GKMC and S80 are better albums tbh. This one is a lil too much of experiments. Didn't like his voice changes in most of the songs. His drank voice on U is horrendous. It may grow on me after a while, but for now, it doesn't stand anywhere near GKMC.

no, i said it was great but not as good as people were making it out to be, which is still true. it's a classic, but tons of rap fans born after 1990 will tell you it's one of the ten best albums ever made. i stand by exactly what i said--my first review had it at 8.5/10, which is what i would give it now.
