    I'm not saying that you not liking that line is invalid, but I don't think "corny" is the right word.

    I dunno, personally it doesn't bother me in the slightest. He's quoting his grandma, and it sounds exactly like something an ornery but well-meaning grandparent would say. The production is top notch. I love Snoop's bridge and outro. I think it's a creative story to tell. Kendrick's voice inflections and flow are both great.

    I do, and I'd like to redact my statement....kind of. What is mean is (in a more literate, less angry kind of way) is that people have become accustomed to "music for the moment" in a sense. Something they can turn up to and not really think about. People saying that this album is too much to take are part of that group. It's because they fail/neglect to comprehend transcendent music, something you have to play multiple times and ponder over like a good book. There's a place for the Drakes/Keefs/Waynes, and there's a place for the Kendricks/Lupes/Commons. Disliking one album because "there's too much to take in" is straight up ignorant and signifies that one hasn't really experienced music.

    and no end in sight
    TPAB is a classic, and I am completely aware stating that is premature
    I just am so d--- sure this album will last ages & solidify Kendrick as one of the best
