oh that's your quibble? that I said 'like' instead of 'love'?

What are a few of these 'hypocrite statements' you speak of? Nothing I referenced in my post on the last page was something I'm alone on. It's all stuff that I've seen others, like @Joshua Smoses and @WPG and @Luis T.I. (at one point) and @M-5 say as well.

Well, to be fair, I don't get how you can rate How Much a Dollar Cost when it's one of the biggest offenders of "trite" writing, as your pal WPG likes to put it.

Not really. I listened to both those albums before this came out last week and I still hold the same view point. Section 80. is a bit more consistent overall but GKMC has more high points.

I will don't worry, he & i obviously have separate tastes and thats totally cool
your opinion makes more sense to me though, i like both but the original sounded way more pop like and sounded like it was made for the radio & caucasian grammys

I think I like the studio version of "i" better but I don't mind the live version he put on the album, I still think it's good.

No no no like i still think GKMC is better than S80 but i am saying that after hearing this album it feels like the production of S80 is overall more "Modern" or at less like the record aged a little bit better in terms of sound

No, I know that's possible but with the way you painted your problems with those parts in the past, I was surprised you still rated them highly

I know it's not really hypocritical. Well...it can kind of be for How Much a Dollar Cost seeing as how complaining about trite writing and then embracing a song that's the biggest offender of said flaw, can be seen as contridictory

But I also don't really care about these semantics and Im just glad you don't seem to strongly dislike this anymore

I think it's something special as a whole, for sure

Ill be waiting here for when you realize you ain't gotta lie, Alright, and Momma are all great songs (some of my favorites on the album) so make sure you report back when that happens m8
