    i think koolo's point is that you can hate an extended skit that ends an album, but it shouldnt play that greatly into one's overall thoughts on the record. which i dont think it does for you, so you both essentially agree lol

    You know this debate Is making me think of Ab-Soul & JMSN's W.R.O.H track. The rap battle was dope, but I had to chop that s--- off too.

    I feel you, I just wished they would of tracked them separately. I liked W.R.O.H. too.

    It was actually the first time I could just listen and enjoy a battle without needing visuals.

    Saying Mortal Man's interview hurt the album is like saying J. Cole's thank yous at the end hurt his album.

    i do that sometimes with battles tbh, -- throw one on when im on my way out and just end only hearing most of it because my phone is in my pocket

    i do that with stand up too sometimes, but the visual aspect obviously matters a lot more for battles. comedy albums have long since been a thing lol but a lot of what makes battles so engaging is the atmosphere, which you pick up on from actually watching.

    to be fair, this topic is getting really taken out of context

    NO ONE ever really said the interview hurt the album as a whole

    WPG was just getting s--- for his comment about kendrick not being a good enough "actor" to pull of the interview

    but i know without a doubt that it is a classic album..and i said that if i heard it then i mighta loved it..but i know its a classic..let me add an uneeded lol...lol

    anyone have any reviews of TPAB that pissed you off? the pitchfork one was slightly irritating, but thats mostly just the writer
    idk why they give that guy big albums to review
