    I knew listening to the album for the first time that the entire thing felt warm, so i suspected it was done in analog, Kendrick's confirmation of that in the breakfast club interview proved he takes it one step further than any other rapper.

    do you guys think the themes/narrative on this album are easier or harder to fully understand when compared to GKMC?

    because i feel like on TPAB, some of the themes are overt, and he makes it easy to understand, but that the full narrative is pretty hidden and tougher to uncover. but then again, GKMC had like a pulp fiction feel to it's narrative. even though everything is pretty clear in retrospect, it wasn't that easy to understand either
