    compared to good kid, even with the pulp fiction narrative, to me that story line is easier to digest, TPAB has me always feeling like i'm missing something, and thats a good thing. if anything it shows how deep of a writer kendrick is.

    I'd say harder... I still haven't fully grasped it (though I haven't been googling it or reading up on it)
    With GKMC, I was avoiding the internet and stuff around that time. Was just occupying myself with the album so I could hear it without distractions. It was probably 2nd or 3rd listen where I was like "wait... this isn't just a bunch of good songs, it's a story being told" sorta deal.


    Clever? no.

    I think TPAB is better than GKMC. Maybe GKMC had slightly better standout songs but TPAB is more consistent.
