    I really don't. Now don't get me wrong, it's all about opinions but I find it to be a lil bit too basic, I mean GKMC is mainly a hip hop album and I've already heard better "hiphop" ,especially when I compare it to the albums I was listening to in the late 80s/early 90s.
    On the other hand, TPAB is more than just a rap album, Kendrick is still a good/great rapper on it but musically the can hold its own against some of my favorite albums of all time.

    I'm sure it is a great album for this generation; but I'm 30 and I've experienced a few more eras in hip hop and to me great rapping is Nas on Illmatic, Jay-z on reasonable doubt, GZA on Liquid Swords. I'd still say that gkmc is good, but it just didn't blow my mind the way TPAB or MBDTF did.

    Gotta be honest, I haven't been impressed by any newschool rapper and I don't find the rapping on tpab to be particularly outstanding either, but I find the music and the composition to be impressive, it reminds me of a lot of goat albums I used to f--- with when I was in high school: Unit Structures, Blue Train, The Sidewinder,...
    What I'm trying to say is that I can compare TPAB to a lot of my favorite jazz albums, I can compare MBDTF to some of my favorite pop/rock albums, but I can't compare GKMC to my favorite rap albums.

    I feel you...
    Kdot is definitely one of the greatest rappers by by today's standards but I feel like he is a far better artist & musician than he is a rapper and gkmc barely ventures out of the hip hop sphere.
