    yep. this is why i tease u for being contrary.

    i might just prefer tpab's scope and conceptual ambition which some fault. i think its admirable for rap albums to be lofty !!!!!!!

    I wouldnt consider this an album either, this is like a lesser version of IYRTITL, all leftover tracks, just very good leftovers, like cold pizza or post thanksgiving turkey:bigquint:

    i have said the exact same thing--about tpab, no less. it's admirable. it's not very good.

    this is soooooo much less pretentious than tpab--it's amazing this was recorded during the same time period.

    nah this new material is pretty cool stuff dont get me wrong with its looser beatnik vibe -- maybe you find that liberating compared to tpab. i dont have an as narrow form of archetype

    Interesting that the original "Untitled" from Colbert was recorded first out of all the songs on the album.

    Why is that amazing? Lol Kendrick mapped out TPAB to be the way it is. This is just a bunch of left overs that likely didn't fit with the albums narrative. Also, I understand not really feeling the whole message behind TPAB with the poem being recited throughout and him talking to 2pac at the end but the music itself is still really good.

    I don't see how tpab is pretentious.
    Trying to bring a new "sound" in your discography doesn't necessarely means that your'e pretentious.
    Plus a pretentious project can still be a masterpiece (cf Kanye's discography)

    the album with the poem about a butterfly and a homeless man who's jesus and a fake interview with 2pac and a song called "complexion (a zulu love)" isn't pretentious?
