    That would be section 80. I didn't know who kendrick lamar was but my roommate was listening to the cd every single day and I was loving it too

    Can't tell if your being sarcastic but I guess you are. I absolutely love Kendrick but his recent music TPAB etc. has just taken such a turn from what he did previously that as a fan it annoys me. I doubt I really have any right to be annoyed but I really think he managed to infuse his Jazz influence much better in OD and Sxn80 and it was really great. Now it just seems too much, and I just don't like what I hear. This is keeping in mind that I am a light Jazz fan.

    I don't think there's much jazz influence in OD, and there's more of a funk influence in his newer stuff. It's not a very accessible sound for some people, I don't think he cares tho tbh

    Yup you're probably right about OD, I haven't listened to it much and I am fairly pissed atm but I mostly meant the very chilled vibe of the music that seems similar. His recent stuff just seems to favour off key beats that sometimes work great but mostly leave me craving a more linear 'easy listening' style song. And that doesn't mean it has to be simple, I think the greatest rap songs hide or insinuate their message into a simpler and more accessible song. Just like 'Swimming Pools' and plenty others.
