    Not only hes getting better with time (Tpab > gkmc > s80 (even though I enjoy s80 more than gkmc) but like someone said before, the talk about his features being underwhelming is nothing new.

    If anything, people were a lot more vocal about him not being a good featuring artist a few years ago.

    I remember back in 2012, everybody on ktt was saying kendrick had nothing but bad guest verses and now they're talking about how he is killing it left and right (with the exception of the pop songs).

    his features are definitely not getting worse lol...his pop versesz have never been anything special, but his guest rap verses are actually much better in 2016

    Lmfao there are zero parallels that could be made to Em and Kendrick's careers besides the fact that they were both signed by Dre. Do you honestly know of no other popular artist that's had bad guest verses other than Eminem? What kind of inane comparison is this?

    Like Eminem was a drug addict in 2003 and was also obsessed with trying to look like a gangster. How does that at all resemble Kendrick's current phase? Did you just hear one bad verse and think "Hey Eminem made bad verses and THIS was a bad verse, clearly Kendrick is going through the same thing Em did!"

    I'm not really sure how he's the new Eminem

    Kendrick is constantly evolving his sound and a lot of the arguments for people not liking it is because it doesn't sound like what he's released previously which to me sounds like a personal preference


    but someone would have to elaborate more on Ems career I never followed him that closely

    Not at all.

    One thing is sure though, 2014/2016 kendrick is the only kendrick I like. Before that he was bad.
