    The public reaction to this is going to largely dictate whether he responds or not. I think there's enough here + general fandom/adoration of Kendrick within the hip-hop community that it will entice Drake to respond.

    If i'm being honest though, I don't think the OVO camp is particularly concerned after hearing this. Pusha-T punched Drake in the mouth. This response is like a jab.

    I have a feeling Drake is not gonna respond and in a month they are on a song together or something like that. Its enjoyable but its no Ether, Takeover or Nail in the Coffin type of s--- so far.

    Really hope they will make more though.

    I think a big part of Ye not being addressed was that Family Matters was mostly written and recorded well before the Like That remix. He obviously retconned some things but the “red button” diss was known of well before. Even the Rocky + Ross disses to Drake came out over a week before the Like That remix.

    Plus he has pretty much already exhausted the back and forth with Kanye. No point to reignite it here and give him the attention he wanted. Not to mention the last time he directly dissed Ye it resulted in The Story of Adidon lol

    I don’t feel bad for Drake at all lol. He’s a millionaire whose life won’t be impacted by any of this. Precisely why he basically said f--- all y’all & went on vacation to the Turks or wherever lmao.

    I’m just making a point re: public perception & Drake’s relative unfavorableness. It’s why after Push Ups, I said win or loss, Drake should be commended for actually staying true to the culture. He’s more than big enough to just ignore all this BS & not even entertain it. That’s what most rap artist at his level of stardom do.


    This would have more footing & I would be more convinced if there was an actual accuser but it’s seemingly the opposite where a lot of the young women people are harping on Drake for interacting with, have actually come out defending him.

    Like I said, if texts leak of Drake sending d----s pics to teenage girls then by all means but as of right now, there is no fire so to speak. It’s just people smelling something & wondering if it’s smoke.
