    I have a feeling Drake is not gonna respond and in a month they are on a song together or something like that. Its enjoyable but its no Ether, Takeover or Nail in the Coffin type of s--- so far.

    Really hope they will make more though.

    By now, it should be evident that Drake writes FAR more quickly than Kendrick. He’s going to try to press that advantage.

    Drake’s responding by the end of the week, if not within 24 hrs.

    (And get ready for that “Nail In the Coffin type s---”…)

    The public reaction to this is going to largely dictate whether he responds or not. I think there's enough here + general fandom/adoration of Kendrick within the hip-hop community that it will entice Drake to respond.

    If i'm being honest though, I don't think the OVO camp is particularly concerned after hearing this. Pusha-T punched Drake in the mouth. This response is like a jab.

    I like Like That & euphoria better, but ultimately I don’t think Drake or Kendrick is winning over the other yet. To me, they seem to be on pretty equal footing right now. I need the second round

    It's alright, from what I saw y'all saying I thought it would be worse but it's fine, certainly no ether but it's not bad either, there's some good lines here like when he's talking about him having a classic and drake having none, I'm raising my son but you know nothing bout that, the sexxy red s--- was funny. I think it's on the same level as push ups in the sense that nobody's going for the throat yet, they're just testing the waters for some reason

    Regardless of the outcome this is one of the corniest beefs I've seen for the J. Cole apology and the A.I voices alone

    The beef so far is really soft. One apologized and quit the beef in round 1 and now we got lil jab diss tracks from drake and k dot.

    Sure. Not sure how this changes the dynamics I outlined.

    Drake’s going to respond promptly, squash the buzz, and have the last word in the beef for the next ~3 weeks while Kendrick slooowly pens a response. Kendrick’s going to get outpaced quickly.
