    After all these songs with dope beat switches, I was hoping for one here lol. We were definitely spoiled music wise (even if @Marsh doesn't think so).

    This beat is dope as f--- but after a few minutes I was like yeah lets goo change it, and it just drags a little.

    After the grahams there wasn't really anything what Drake could have said to make it better. He could fabricate some wild accusations but the public opinion was already on Kendricks hand. Whether its true that's not important to most people. Today everybody responds OOH , d---, WHAT THE f---' to anything thats revealed by a rapper of tabloid or whatever. A few days later people already moved on to something new. So if Drake somehow managed to prove its fake, he already lost that battle. Would have been the same if Family Matters sunk in about the wife beating accusations. People's attention span is nothing nowadays lol.

    Anyhow still glad Drake didn't just ignore it and had the balls to respond. Nothing really hard, some funny lines and he (tries to) debunk some s---. Its okay. Ross line lol

    Curious if Kendrick still feels the need to continue this, but yeah like I said yesterday this was fun!!

    If Kendrick has a heart he will leave it at that and let Drake leave with a bit of pride. But the guy seems like a psycho so he prolly gonna drop 2 other diss tracks chewing whatevers left on the bone.

    I never doubted him as a rapper but I had to see him in a battle of this caliber :kanye3: idk if that makes sense how I'm saying this s--- but you can be a great rapper and not really be good at dissing or battling (look at J. Cole)

    Definitely. I can just see a narrative starting to brew by a few of the ‘take no sides’ peeps in here that Drake was taking an automatic L no matter what when that’s not the case at all. At the very start people weren’t convinced Kendrick had it in him because he’s not battle tested & hasn’t used his emcee skills in like a decade.

    This track needed to be revised further, way too many holes in it. Kendrick is easily winning, and did a great job with releasing his last one to focus on what he should’ve from the beginning. I think “Meet the grahams” and “6:16 in LA” both lose major points of credibility for now, unless the child is ever proven. I know that wasn’t the entire point of the track, but it was the big initial shock that got everyone in shambles and a major backbone to both records

    Man, I've been glazing kendrick all day but this s--- made me respect him way more than I already did (I'm usually a semi-casual fan of his s--- y'know, not exactly a "stan"), anyway people also had to take into account the power Drake has to make hits, back to back was a great diss AND a hit back in the day, nobody gives a f--- about american (or canadian) rap around here and I heard cars bumping that s--- in the streets when it first came out

    Or that haunting beat from grahams and kendrick saying he's a deatbeat that shouldnt say more life, or Drake saying 'then we need a verse for the swiftieeees

    Drake’s a titan in this industry & is great at diss tracks especially with his work ethic, there’s No Tellin’ that there was an alternate timeline where Drake just barrages Kendrick with diss track after diss track & drops a club b-----r on top of it, but Kendrick called his bluff.

    This is why if it comes out that Drake is telling the truth & did in fact set Kendrick up with false insider info, it would be very strange that he let him get all these dunks off, maybe Drake just like most of the fans under estimated Kendrick’s work ethic cos on the surface that seems like a self-own. That’s why people are leaning towards it being baseless. It’s not that people just don’t like Drake, it’s that the picture he’s painted with this so-called strategy just looks illogical LOL

    On the other hand Kendrick said on his 1st lines of Euphoria:
    I calculate you're not as calculated, I can even predict your angle
    Fabricatin' stories on the family front 'cause you heard Mr. Morale
