That's because, as @TimmyT used to chide me for, I used to never post in the sports sections of these sites at all, except for maybe outside of the playoffs. Growing up in pro sports front offices I kind of had little patience for the level of discussion some fans have (like posting memes that reduce LeBron to a "ring chaser," for example). But that's probably why you didn't see me, lol--except for when I was carrying a portable radio on the school bus in 04, not many deep runs I could log on to gloat about.

Not sure how you missed all my thousand-word Kevin Love tirades tho lol

Golden State so f---ing spam. I love it. Anybody who uses them in 2K next year is a straight-up b----. But is this, on paper, the most talented team of all time? I can't recall a team that had four superstars of this magnitude.

Don't even know who's really left for free agents but wouldn't surprise me if someone else goes cheap to the Warriors just to have a good shot at a ring and to play on that team.

When's Bron gonna sign? Hope he signs in Cleveland long term and doesn't do another 1 year deal so he can join the warriors next year too.

Honestly, I don't know what's worse, and I'm trying to get into the mind of an athlete the caliber of Kevin Durant here:

Being as talented as you are and always on the cusp of a ring and greatness but never succeeding and retiring without ever having won a championship OR having to resort to being a second, possibly third option on the greatest team ever, which also happened to eliminate you from the finals the previous year when you are up 3-1, essentially causing your fans and the entire NBA to despise you.

I just can't justify a world where KD doesn't retire with a ring and after next year, once Russ most likely leaves, it probably wouldn't happen anytime soon in OKC, so from the standpoint of wanting to cement your career as one of a champion, it makes sense and I can't fault him for it. Yeah, it's weak, but I get KD being willing to sacrifice ANYTHING for the price of winning. In that sense, I can respect it. But I also understand why everybody in the world hates the move, too.

I don't know though.

KD's not gonna be a 2nd or 3rd option lol, he'll most likely be the top scorer on the team imo..I could see Durant averaging around 25-27 a game, Curry around 22-25, not really sure what Klay's numbers will look like. Klay will also be used defensively against the other team's top guard I'd assume too.

Definitely an incredible finals, loved it... but this move strikes me sour as it just confines talent rather than having it spread at least over several teams. It makes it boring, IMO. at least in the NHL the talent is spread out and makes for an incredibly surprising playoffs yearly.
