Because the initial reactions to the accusations before Spacey made his statements were pretty much on Rapp's side weren't they I seriously don't think the situation would be much different if Rapp was the only one making accusations and Spacey was denying it. I just can't see people potentially blaming the victim and defending the big Hollywood star. The burden of proof may be on the accusers in the court of law, but irl it's on the accused to prove he didn't do something since denying is just taken as lying. And since it's not possible to prove you didn't sexually assault your accuser, then you're f----- either way. Even if found not guilty in court due to lack of evidence, the public perception is "smh let off on technicalities"

Nov 3, 2017 Look I may dislike Spacey and would love to see his downfall.. But we now live in a culture where everyone is guilty until proven innocent, and that’s a dangerous thing. (Kinda off topic) I know for myself and many of my male friends, we really don’t “hit” on women for fear of sexual harassment. I know for them and myself we don’t physically touch them, but even approaching someone who unknowingly doesn’t want to be approached can lead to problems. People are coming out the woodworks these days and I’m glad to see Hollywood fall.. But I feel like this culture has turned into somewhat of the Salem witch trials.
