Dec 4, 2015 Honestly I don't even really like the MOTM albums as much as everyone else. Don't get me wrong there are some classic songs on each album but it's a bit overrated. I've liked a couple of newer songs like Immortal and What I Am but even I know Cudi fell off but I mean you can't hate the guy for making music he enjoys even if it's bad. I'd rather have him make that s--- for himself but I don't give a f--- about him anyways so I'm just ranting.

That said people really waste time going on threads making fun of an artist for 4 likes or listening. You don't see me going on the Kanye section calling him a fat overrated fa---- who makes awful music because I got better s--- to do but I mean to each his own
Dec 4, 2015 I listened to the first track honestly I like the sound since I'm into that kind of music. I listen to a lot of hardcore/punk backyard bands that have s-----y "raw" production took me awhile to get used to it but yeah. Anyways as far as lyrics go he's still sucking a--- nothing truly impressive and not like his older material not gonna bother checking out the rest since I didn't like this.
Dec 4, 2015 Kanye caved and made music he's already made before. That led to MBDTF. Cudi would have a great time making MOTM-tier music again. He'd see his fanbase come back, he'd be getting love on Twitter, and he wouldn't have to hang around asskissers.

Dec 4, 2015 Because deep down inside, Cudi knows it's what he's good at. Maybe it hurts him knowing that he isn't as versatile as other artists. If he embraced it, he'd feel much better about himself. His music now is such a polar opposite to his music from years back, and it is that way for a reason. He wants to distance himself from what made him great. If only we knew why.
Dec 4, 2015 I can't even come up with an arguement or anything really since I don't even like Cudi but I'm sure he knows what he'd like as an artist. He's seeing the reception he's getting and how bad it is yet still chooses to go this way so I'm sure he's content or happy doing this. Either way I don't plan on listening to his newer or older albums anytime soon so eh.
Dec 4, 2015 im honestly not gonna listen to this, i dont mind someone abandoning there fanbase for something new for a project to see if they can adjust, but too do so in a ignorant as f--- way as to tell them to basically f--- off.. f--- this guy, for someone who use to say i make this music for "yall guys" he needs to get his priorities right and stop being a dickhead. ok kendrick made TPAB for himself but still put effort to make it sound good for his fanbase, tell this ignorant f--- to stop going in the studio and making the songs completely for himself where he forgets maybe he should stop thinking from his own POV and think from a listeners *end rant

Dec 4, 2015 I think the issue is Cudi isn't listening to Hip-hop anymore and wants to make the type of music he's being influenced by atm. The problem is, thats not his genre. We'd be cool if he experimented with the grunge sound for a song or 2. But a whole album is almost unbearable.
