You know I made a thread for terrible Eminem Opinions right? I think you might have posted in the wrong place. No way is Kami or MTBMB worse than Recovery. It smokes them... And it's not even close

It's incredible. This is just crazy. But Eminem fans are probably the only music fans who spend days figuring out which Eminem album / track was worse.

I think we'll be taking it to the next level soon and there will be themes like "Top 5 Worst Eminem Albums". Well, in some way, such topics would be relevant to create now.

If it’s nonsense then explain why Recovery sold 10 million more than the dog s--- relapse?
It sold 10 million more because it had back to back diamond selling singles and was number 1 for 9 straight weeks!
Relapse had zero diamond selling singles just the embarrassment that was We Made You and 3am!
The best part of Relapse was the Steve Berman skit with Em apologising for shooting him on TES!
Even Em said Relapse was s--- on Cinderella Man ‘It’s a trap, f--- my last CD that s----s in my trash’

He also apologises for it on Talkin 2 Myself!

Because it had big names on it. Rihanna, Pink, Lil Wayne. It was promoted to f---, the pop features were a big part of the promo. Rap God gave hip hop fans hope. Nor afraid was catchy and played everywhere. The recovery roll out was genius honestly. Numbers also don't determine quality. I can name some low selling records that are incredible.

Em thought relapse was dog s--- because of the accent but he came back at a time where people weren't ready for that Relapse type material. Relapse was a great album, one of my favourites of his but it was a terrible album commercially. It simply didn't fit with the times.

You're seeing this purely from your perspective and that's where your argument falls apart. Rap God got mixed reactions when it dropped but hip hop heads were intrigued. Intrigue causes sales too. When you look at Not Afraid and Rap God, totally different styles and really there was no clear indication how this album was going to sound. If we are talking about sales, we can't narrow it down to personal opinions. We got to open it up and see it from a wider point of view.

Every Eminem album has had an ingenious promo, but the last time a good promo was done for MMLP2.

I lived in 2009 and saw the Relapse promo, it was just as amazing as the Recovery promo. There was only a difference - there were pop hits on Recovery, but there were no such hits on Relapse, it was a hip-hop album for fans, not for the pop masses.

Why can't Eminem do a good promo for the last 3 albums? He probably lost all the people that made him the biggest selling artist of the 2000s.
