Would the song have fit better on the 56 nights project rather than ds2?

No it wouldn't the aesthetic, 56 nights was a shot of adrenaline

But it is also a little out of its place on DS2. All trap songs to the max and then throws this in there. granted it is a deluxe song but I feel if one of the skits was replaced or if Kno the meaning was placed at the end of of 56 nights it would have fit well really well with it
