    Greatest of his era, been a privilege to watch since I became a fan in 2002, watched about 90% of his games since then maybe even more. Only 5 days till the grand finale, d---...Basketball will truly never be the same to me, I'll still be a fan of course but it'll just be different.

    I was watching highlights of this classic Kobe game I forgot about last night, man he was on fire especially in the 3rd quarter. He hit 11 straight shots at one point in a 30 point 3rd quarter, had 52 overall and I know he was 18/24 at one point near the end but can't remember if that's what he finished at or not. They took him out with 30 something seconds left in the 3rd, could have tied the record of 33 in a quarter but it was still amazing. At this point he was coming back from knee surgery and still recovering a little from that, this was his first break out game after the surgery and it was against a Utah team that was (believe it or not) best in the league at the time, although it was only late November. He was playing with a starting lineup of total scrubs at that point too lol, it was Smush Parker, Kwame Brown, Luke Walton and Lamar Odom in the f---in STARTING LINEUP lol, those are hardly even NBA caliber players really besides Odom of course. Anyways it was a great game especially that 3rd quarter where he just couldn't miss.

    Really cool behind the scenes video I found last night of Kobe's last game, you can hear and see some of the conversations he had with people before/after the game and also a cool recap of the game too with much better play by play than the ESPN guys imo, they mix in the Lakers radio and TV broadcasts. The last like 5 mins or so is when you can see him meeting with people after the game and all that, cool stuff if you're interested. Stu Lantz (Lakers TV announcer) told Kobe this was better than 81.

    People can say a lot about Boston (especially Red Sox and Patriot) fans as far as being arrogant, but Celtic fans are pretty knowledgeable and definitely show respect, even when an athlete is hated.... Celtic fans, mind you.

    I remember this, when the Celtics were absolute trash, and Kobe received MVP chants in Boston... Pretty crazy the amount of respect Kobe had in Boston, even during both Finals.

    Word is he got a workout in before 7am. Said it's all about having a routine.

    I hate how people say athletes can't be role models. Sure most have personal flaws, we all do, but Kobe's work ethic and drive is something anybody can be inspired by.

    d--- 60? That's crazy. Even if he put up 50 shots lmao. Shaq jokingly asked him recently if he could put up 50 in his final game, he said no but he up'd that by 10. & he hit the game winner. Couldn't ask for a more classic night from the Mamba.
