    Agree, but I still don't think this is the huge step back people are making it out to be.

    He's proven to be a really good writer over his career, he just needs to hang around Ye more and learn how to step out of his comfort zone while still maintaining who he is an an artist.

    Yup, I don't think Drake can make a song that's not at least *good* to his core fans, just because he hasn't lost touch with what made his music/music in general great.

    But for him to make compelling music again, like Look What You've Done, he needs to evolve from a content perspective. Otherwise he's going to end up like 50 Cent, where the music isn't bad, but it's not great either.

    Maybe his personal life just got kinda stagnant? For his next project he really needs to dig deep and find some new motivation.
