    id extend that from 09-15.

    Young Thug leaks in 2015 were incredible.
    Last few years I found to be so boring.

    The genre is badly in need of a fresh sound or some new artists who are not Young Thug or Lil Uzi clones

    yeah im definitely not discrediting 2014-17 but i feel like the fact that the era had so many legendary mixtapes and albums and trap became such a massively streamed subgenre makes me feel like its become quite stagnant in comparison, in a way i wish commas wasnt such a massive hit
    eternal atake and whole lotta red are definitely refreshing but i find myself enjoying the likes of drakeo, blueface and many uk rappers way more than for example all the thug offshoots
