Dec 14, 2017 6.8/10 rating after rating every track. The songs I f--- with, are fantastic, the ones I don't are potentially some of the worst s--- he has released. Although, some tracks are beginning to grow that I found cancerous at first. There is more to like than say Shady XV but I think I was more stoked when Recovery and MMLP2 dropped. Relapse is still his best work post hiatus but I hated that s--- when it first dropped. His writing is still great, the beat selection is solid on a fair amount of tracks but sonically there are real issues, 0 cohesion, felt like a mess, reminded me of my first reactions to TLOP by Kanye.

Dec 14, 2017 its better than anything since 2002 like i said after the first listen tbh , idk why people hate it so much album is incredibly diverse just like koolo said , like s--- blew me away you have some trap songs , political , emotional ,rock ,pop rap even fkin relapse era sound there is like a different flow on each song , if you dont like his choppy flow there are songs with a normal double time flow or just simple slow flown that you can listen to i will give a 2nd listen today
Dec 14, 2017 Album will be received poorly. Of course it will sell moderately , but it's gonna be marked a dud. Who f---ing cares about your wife that you divorced 20 years ago man. Go outside, experience new things. Album blows. I've been a fan since sslp and I can't defend this in public I agree with the gems in this album, but a LOT of skippers.
Dec 14, 2017 I'm nut even sure it's the content, just sonically it is not pleasing. The only song mixed and produced well is that relapse song, which I am sure Dre mixed himself. That tragic song with Skyler could be dope but the audio is awful.
Dec 14, 2017 Well said, Koolo. I felt the same. First listen, I was like what is this s---? I was disappointed as f---. Then I relistened, and realized it actually has some really good songs. It's thematic, a little bit of something for everyone and overall it's good. 7/10 Arose, Framed, Believe, Walk on Water, Castle are the highlights among a few other moments. A lot of people are definitely just jumping on the hate bandwagon and not giving it a full fair listen. It's good, has some weak moments, maybe a bit too poppy and corny at times but still more ballsy and honest than MMLP2 and overall I liked it.
Dec 14, 2017 this is the first eminem album i hated at first ..... now i really like it. Usually I love them too much and realize their flaws. Last 3 songs are stone-lock classics.
