Mar 7, 2022 I get where you’re coming from but he can be hands off in their projects & still showcase his signees on his own album(s) instead of platforming artists like Phresher, Young MA & Jack Harlow.
Mar 7, 2022 Bro the only one that has blamed em was Joe, Royce never blamed em for the demise of slaughterhouse. Joell never blamed em, neither did crooked. So for you to assume that em plays a part, in slaughterhouse failing I think is nothing but you assuming s---, and taking Joe's side. It isn't d-ck riding when there isn't enough concrete evidence to believe em should be blamed. Slaughterhouse not getting back together wasn't em fault it was Joe's. Even if em plays some Part in slaughterhouse not working out, em isn't even the biggest factor so really and truly it seems pointless trying to put so much blame on him.[/QUOTE]
Mar 7, 2022 Bro I hope you don't actually believe what your saying smh, Joe was clearly disrespectful it was so obvious. Like seriously even if you are blind you can still hear the disrespect. You have to remember Joe was the same guy who wrote slaughter mouse, a love letter to em. And now a few years later he wants to bash em about his album. Bruh If the only way Joe could communicate that revival was bad, is by throwing around hyperbolic statements and disrespectful slander. Then Joe needs to seriously work on his communication skills. Because if joe said something like this "so far from what I've heard I'm not really feeling it, none of the tracks scream classic em. So far from the tracks I've heard I haven't liked them, and I am bit confused as to the direction em seems to have taken this album, these are my feelings currently on the album. I'm not feeling it and It definitely isn't for me, despite em being one of the best. This album isn't of the caliber I hold em to, so personally for me I am disappointed with what we've got so far." If Joe had said something like that I doubt em would have responded the way he did, and even if he did you would have had more people saying em is outta pocket for that one. But Joe didn't speak about em or his album with any form of respect, so now it's all fair game if Joe can voice his opinion about em in anyway he likes, regardless of his tone or lack of respect then joe shouldn't feel mad about em giving his opinion about Joe, and his music. "Somebody tell Budden before I snap, he better fasten it or have his body bag get zipped The closest thing he's had to hits is smacking b------s" As soon as em said we saw who was the real b---- and it weren't em.
Mar 7, 2022 He prolly doesn’t really trust them on a personal level… why put signee’s on your album when they’re just gonna go and trash you later on?
Mar 7, 2022 Idk if it was intended. But the rise and fall of ziggy stardust and the spiders from Mars is one of the best albums ever. So if they meant to reference it, this album better not disappoint
Mar 7, 2022 And Joe only said that after weeks of Akademiks getting at him for being a company man. Before that Marshell was "the boss"
Mar 7, 2022 Joe isn't rapping though. He may have felt like he'd be back for Slaughterhouse but what is that worth when the years pass and nothing happened? Royce and Joe mention a Westside Gunn feature that fell through as if that is powerful evidence that the group was still active. They weren't. Budden may not have intentionally f----- up the group but again what is that worth? He destroyed the group's relationship with their own label and it wasn't by accident. He is not due a pass just because he shat on his boss before he thought it through. I really don't get the problem with what Crooked and Joell are doing. It's not a Slaughterhouse project. It doesn't claim to be one. It uses the logo and tells a SH story. It's like a spin off project which is well within their rights to do. They clearly got sick of sitting on the bench waiting for the other members to find time. Both Joe and Royce have said directly that the group was done, now they're mad that the others took them at their word.
Mar 7, 2022 Do you not think the bad-mouthing is a direct response to the lack of support from Em & his label, like not showcasing them?
Mar 8, 2022 The more and more I'm sure this is a publicity stunt and we will get a new Slaughterhouse album this Friday. Not just Joell x Crooked. They just made up tracklist, all of this + those 2 songs. They needed to stir some s--- up to hype people up.
Mar 8, 2022 Everything about Slaughterhouse is a joke at this point. All four members are living in the past. Give me a break lol. Makes for good memes at least
Mar 9, 2022 KXNG Crooked is a beast. Hope he gets better production more often so that he can create music we know he is capable of.
Mar 9, 2022 Griselda is what SH wanted to be. Period. And I am not even that big on Griselda either but they just sound sooo much smoother.
Mar 9, 2022 Not really a comparison. Griselda are more like the classic rap groups made of dudes who came up together. The hook for Slaughterhouse was that it was 4 skilled solo rappers from different places that joined up to out-rap eachother. Griselda have done really well for themselves though. They're having a great run. Would have been great if SH had done something similar. That first album was made in days so in hindsight it's a d--- shame that so much of the group's active time was wasted working on a garbage major label album.
