I've yet to actually give this a real go, since I've always done my own mastering with plugins and s---. I keep seeing stuff about it though, and I'm very interested to know what some of you might think about it. Any of you tried it or think it's worth a try?

Supposedly, as long as you mix it well and upload the unmastered version with a lot of headroom it works fantastically... I'm in the process of testing its master vs a master of my own, and I'll definitely say it seems better than my own mastering could accomplish (not that that's much, but still).

EDIT: and also upload it in a lossless format, like .wav

Okay, I'm way too far into The Autumn Storm that I'd basically have to re-mix everything in order to use this for it, but for my next project? I think It's a done deal. This is amazing. The difference is VERY noticeable...

I mean, it's not going to clean your audio up if it's s-----y or rushed, it's just a mastering thing. You'll still need to EQ and mix properly and added reverb and effects and what not, for the desired result.

compression and some EQing and getting the volume levels on everything right and up higher is mainly what mastering is for. Mastering can't fix a bad mix lol

If you mean you have more control over the master by doing it yourself, obviously, but unless you're really good, I don't know that your results will touch this.
