    yep. MMLP2 was a step in the right direction in terms of maturity and poetry, but he threw all of the progress away just to come back to a poor man's version of his prime shock value lyrics

    poetically speaking it's impressive, but the accuracy of it elevates it to another level. It really is frustrating knowing he can say shot like this but never seems to want to.

    I remember first hearing the song & realising that it was a sequel to Stan, which on paper is so f---ing risky considering just how good it was. But man... Em did the impossible. That last verse gave me goosebumps on the first few listens

    I really do hope we get something similar on his next album. The way he wrote it and the way it flowed, to the fading out at the end...d---

    Oh and I was lucky enough to witness Em performing Bad Guy live for the first time ever

    It was the first track...after waiting in Wembley for so long a video finally played & it was about the revenge on Em. The video played for about 5 mins, the curtains went down, and then Em appeared & started the final verse of Bad Guy in front of 90,000 people. That s--- was crazy. Then straight into Square Dance with a full stadium going crazy..

    So f---ing good

    To be honest, those last 20 seconds sort of ruin the momentum for me. I wish the song ended with "better make sure you're packing a wallop". It's also confusing when he says "one last time I'm back" but did not retire.

    I'm not even a huge eminem fan but this thread is reminding me of how talented he still can be. I'm really looking forward to the new album. Hopefully it doesn't disappoint

    He's caught up in whether or not he should be done or is done...then we had Guts Over Fear....He knows that when the game is over the game is over u cant put a quarter in the machine and keep goin....Next album intro we're gonna hear it again

    Let's not forget 2013 Eminem managed to pull of a 10/10 sequel to Stan no one saw coming. Everyone agreed a sequel to Stan would certainly be s---.
